A space for healing, connection, and hope.

I’m Heejei Wang, an intern counselor at Blue Hill Therapy under the supervision of Becca Coley, working with individuals, couples, and families. I’m currently completing my degree in Marriage, Couple, and Family Therapy at Lamar University.

I strive to create a warm, compassionate, and supportive space where you can feel heard and understood. Together, we can explore what you’re carrying, navigate life’s challenges, strengthen your relationships, and work toward healing and meaningful, lasting change.

How I Can Help

Trauma & Healing

Trauma can affect how we see ourselves, relate to others, and experience safety in the present. Counseling can provide a place to understand those experiences at your own pace and begin moving toward healing.

My training includes Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Week 1 of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, an evidence-based treatment for PTSD and trauma-related concerns.

Grief & Loss

Grief does not follow a simple timeline. Whether you are grieving the death of someone you love or another significant loss or transition, you do not have to move through it alone.

Together, we can make room for both what has been lost and the life that continues around that loss.

Premarital & Couples Counseling

Healthy relationships aren't relationships without differences. They are relationships in which couples learn how to understand one another, communicate through differences, and build a shared life intentionally.

As a certified PREPARE/ENRICH facilitator, I work with couples who want to understand their relationship more deeply and build a stronger foundation for marriage.

Premarital counseling may explore communication, conflict, family backgrounds, finances, expectations, intimacy, personality differences, faith, and shared goals.

Parents & Families

Family relationships can hold both our greatest sources of connection and some of our deepest challenges.

I work with parents and families navigating communication difficulties, changing roles, cultural and generational differences, and other challenges affecting family relationships.

Multicultural & Cross-Cultural Counseling

Culture matters in counseling.

Our cultural backgrounds can shape how we understand emotions, marriage, parenting, family responsibilities, faith, success, and even whether asking for help feels acceptable.

I welcome individuals, couples, and families from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds, including multicultural and cross-cultural relationships. My hope is to create a space where you don't have to leave important parts of your identity outside the counseling room.

Counseling in Korean | 한국어 상담

Sometimes the language closest to your heart is the language in which you can most fully express what you're experiencing.

I am fluent in Korean and English and can provide counseling in either language.

Faith & Counseling

For some people, faith is an important part of how they understand suffering, relationships, healing, and hope.

For clients who desire it, I thoughtfully integrate a Christian perspective into the counseling process while also drawing from established, evidence-based psychological approaches. My theological training includes a Master of Religion from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, which equips me to sensitively incorporate faith and spirituality into therapy in ways that respect each client’s individual beliefs, values, and goals.

Faith integration is your choice. You are welcome whether or not you wish to incorporate faith into our work.

You don't have to have everything figured out before coming to counseling.

You can come with questions.

You can come with grief.

You can come feeling stuck.

You can come wanting your relationship to be different but not knowing how to get there.

Counseling gives us a place to begin understanding your story together and consider what healing and meaningful change could look like for you.
